Management Career - Three tips for communicating about e-learning
- Be decisive. Consensus building is not good enough. When you lead an e-learning intervention, colleagues and clients will expect you to be predictable, make decisive statements and keep your actions congruent wit your statements.
- Bring issues alive. The difference between a good e-learning project manager and a great one is that a great one makes the issues alive for people, creates a sense of urgency, and helps people sing from the same song sheet.
- Remain positive. Most people want you to succeed. If you remain positive, think critically about what you are doing, and adjust your actions when you don't succeed—you will eventually succeed.
