Money Managers
Money managers manage the buying and selling of stocks and bonds for businesses by selecting and managing investments that meet the goals of the business. Money managers often spend a lot of time putting together presentations for clients and studying or analyzing market data in order to make investment recommendations.
Employment opportunities for money managers are found with investment banks, insurance companies, hedge funds and with private money management firms.
The average annual salary for entry-level money manager and analyst positions is around $30,000 to $50,000. Positions with private funds are more likely to pay a higher salary. Money managers working in a private firm, often earn more, as they typically are equity holders in the firm.
